It would be nice if there were a way to make the word “hour(s)” or “hr” appear with the quantity when that’s what it is. My sales invoices sometimes have both billable hours (from Billable time) and flat-rate days (as manually entered line-items on invoices) listed together, and it gets confusing.
(If memory serves, and if what I wrote here 9 years ago is correct, something like this used to be the case, but the feature fell off at some point. Looking through PDF versions of my old invoices, it looks like the feature went away sometime between 2022 and 2023. I’d like to have it back.)
In a related vein, I’ll also put in another plug for an option to sum the hours on an invoice that includes Billable time. My client wants me to show the total number of hours on my invoices, in addition to the itemization, so I have to add it up manually every time and type it in a footer. I’d like that to be automatic. Thank you.
