The cost of goods sold figure displayed on the summary tab does not match the corresponding value reported in the income statement.

You can drill down the value to see what transactions are causing the difference and report here.
Or try backing up your business data, Delete all Unit Costs in Settings - Inventory Unit Costs then open the Inventory Tab and click Recalculate Button. And see if this can help solve the problem.
Well that is neither that easy nor possible. The developer has to fix the bug. I am afraid, the developer @lubos has not responded for last almost two weeks.
