Hello I have the latest 64 bit windows 10 desktop version of Managerio.
I have 74 customers. The customers are listed in an excel spreadsheet with their surnames first, however I have changed that in Managerio so the surname comes last is there a way to have the surname first and change that to the surname last on the mailing address. It makes sense to me to have a surname first for accounting and a surname last for mailing
Sometimes Manager versions change several times in a day. Please quote the version number that you installed. It is at the very bottom of every page.
Also note that the name of the application is Manager not Managerio. The io you refer to is the extension .io of the website similar to .com

Hello I have Version 24.3.10.1347 windows 10 64 bit desktop version of Manager.
I have 74 customers. The customers are listed in an excel spreadsheet with their surnames first, however I have changed that in Manager so the surname comes last is there a way to have the surname first and change that to the surname last on the mailing address. It makes sense to me to have a surname first for accounting and a surname last for mailing I would be most appreciative if you could be more precise as there are so many guides and I am unable to find this actual or similar solution
I am also having problems sometimes when trying to get into the guides that the following message comes up " Page Not Found
Looks like you’ve followed a broken link or entered a URL that doesn’t exist on this site.
—" and when I go back to the site it doesn’t let me drill down
The more comprehensive guides are at Guides | Manager (www2…) as also indicated on the new website (see screenshot) where reference is made in the yellow box)

Manager is currently not able to do this function, but I see it in the ideas section

My reply to this is that it is not in the ideas section (ideas - Manager Forum) if so I stand corrected when you can provide the link.

[/quote] I have read the guides as suggested and have not been able to find any reference to my question, so is it possible please?
Let me be more specific. I have customers entered as first name and surname, because it is the correct order for invoicing, emailing etc,. however when looking up any information, the surname is usually searched. In our not for profit association we have 2 types of membership, one being ordinary member ($15) and the other being a family (2 for $20 which is $10 each). As you can see the family has a cheaper subscription than an ordinary member as there are 2 persons. As you can appreciate it is extremely difficult when trying to connect the family uisng their first names as they are different in every case. I have put custom fields into the customer base as well as showing on the invoice to identify, but it is very time consuming. As all our members are separate entities, It is not possible to raise an invoice for a family, for example if the family had bank accounts, they would be separate as they are in our association, and not regarded as a joint account.
Manager only uses Name and thus does not split into “first name” and “surname”. Because you use Manager for accounting and find it more important for that purpose to put surname first in the Name field you can do a Batch update for the 74 customers.
