Track Total Sales/Units Purchased per Customer

Within our company we offer bonuses for every product a customer buys. Every 6 months we like to look up a customer and see how many units they bought of a particular item so we can give them a bonus. I see that on manager I can get a customer transaction report of their balance but nothing showing customer total sales/purchases of a certain unit/etc.

Is there a way of doing this that I do not see? Or will a feature like this soon be available?

Right now, this is sort of analysis is not possible. One option would be to create some generic report writer in which you could simply set rows to be customers and columns to be inventory items and cells to be quantity on sales invoices. I think this would be the best way to approach this and would satisfy not just your requirements but many similar ones too. I might have a stab at this sometime this month.
