The date does not follow the specified format

The date is shown as year-month-day which is exactly what the format selected

yyyy-MM-dd, this should display the date in 4 digit year, 2 digit month and 2 digit day.

There is nothing in your setting to indicate the month will be shown with two digits.

Interesting. I see that my completed sales invoices show the months with 2 digits

but the edit screens show them with 1 digit.

As long as it shows the way you want on the final form?

This is a different thing for me, I need more complete data for my project, which I can only get from EditForm. A consistent Date Format is essential to avoid errors.
