Then resolve the problems there. The magnitude suggests these are not rounding errors. In fact, when you look at this particular report, there is nothing to suggest there is any error at all. The Tax Reconciliation report simply lists how much you paid to the tax authority, how much you assessed your customers, and how much you were assessed by your suppliers.
So, other than a possible reference to the title of the report, it is not at all clear what you are trying to “reconcile,” as you mention in your first post and your subject. Your post was actually about a bug with journal entries and had nothing to do with reconciling anything or the Tax Reconciliation report.
You never said what this difference was between. I think everyone (including myself) who has responded to this topic was led off the track by your choice of words.
