ok

Please search the forum, Manager can not do automatic arithmetic with custom fields with existing hardcoded fields such as Qty. It can thus not automatically multiply Labor * Qty * Unit price = Amount.

No, just need to add the amount of Labor in Amount[Total]. I mean I want the sum of Labor Charges + [Amount in Total]

@Kashi1, why do you need any custom field at all? Define your labor types or categories as non-inventory items. See the Guide: Create non-inventory items | Manager.

Already created Non Inventory Items. Just want to make the job easy for colleague and learning.

Easier how? Non-inventory items already do exactly what you said you wanted. No custom fields or custom themes are required.

Actually, I have to create invoices as per “Qty of Cartons” to some customers and as per “Weight” and i have already created non inventory items for them. but for few clients I have to sent them invoices having sum of Labor Charges + Transportation + Qty*Unit Price and for qty I am using No of Cartons as default.
see screen shot.

In this scenario, Rate Per Ctrns (Actually Cartons) already taken as by default.
That’s why i am asking for help.

You can not do this in Manager

The closest you will get is to create line item custom fields, enter the values in them, canlculate the total manually and add it to the value field on the line

Not sure why you don’t put the labour and transport charges on separate lines - I am pretty sure you customers don’t really care about the format of your invoice as long as the data on it is clear and correct and in conformity with the contract you made, implicitly or by default, with them
