In the “Statement of Changes in Equity” report, the main equity subsection has a line-item “Balance at beginning of period”, which I understand and has correct information, but then also has another line-item “Starting balance” with no value (just a “-”). Is that a Manager-provided category, or is it pulling that term from somewhere in my dataset, and if so, where from?
Looking a little further, it looks to me like this is coming from the “Starting balance” line used for the various accounts, which makes sense - but if there’s no actual balance during this period, perhaps it should not be on the report?
EDIT: ok, ok, I found the “Exclude zero balances” checkbox. NEVER MIND.
