State wise breakup of Customer Statement

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if there is a way to get Report for Customers based on their State. I coudn’t find this in any of manager discussions.

Also tried putting only state name in customer address field but was unsuccesful in getting anything.
Any help is appreciated please do let me know if this is even possible. I’m not good at coding in case we need a new Custom Field.

this was already discussed regarding using Place of Supply on invoices with a custom field.
then run the Sales Invoices Totals by Custom Field report.
