South Africa Payroll - UIF submissions

I see there are South African Accountants on here using the payslips function.

Since Manager does not have the function for uif submissions nor the EMP501 electronic files, are you submitting manually?

No - the payroll feature in Manager is rudimentary and really only suitable for small, or very small, businesses.

Because of the immense range of local regulations, taxes and laws in different countries, it is nearly always better to use a local payroll service. Most of them will include electronic submissions to the local tax authorities where required
