@Lexy_Haughton, if other computers are unable to access login screen of the server, you need local IT person to help you with that. This is a networking issue.
Please take me through the steps of how I add their computer
Maybe you should subscribe to the Cloud Version of Manager… It will be easier for your team.
@Lexy_Houghton
There are a great many helpful and knowledgeable people on this forum, but in order for help and answers to problems or misunderstandings to be given, you will need to explain what it is that you are experiencing and what is not functioning for you.
May I respectfully suggest that you set-out the context of your installation thus:-
Operating System being used
Manager Version Number installed
Manager Edition Installed
Then describe the problem by answering the following questions:-
What are you trying to achieve?
What are you doing to try to achieve that?
What results do you get?
How do those results differ from your expectations?
As a final tip, please do not repeat your earlier stated desire that you wish to “add a computer to Manager” (or words to that effect), as that is not part of how any Manager installation works or functions.
I’ll try one last time, @Lexy_Haughton. You don’t add computers to Manager. If you are running Manager on a server, other computers access the application through their installed web browser. You create user identities that allow them to do that. The procedures for setting up a web-accessible browser have nothing to do with Manager. The procedures for installing the server edition of Manager on a server and creating users are covered in the guides: Guides. Your server’s operating system determines which guide you need.
If you are not qualified to to follow these procedures, you need professional IT support or to subscribe to the cloud edition as @xero50 suggested.
If you have followed Tuts instructions here: Create users and created the users, you then need to open a browser on the connecting PC and enter the IPAddress of the ‘Server’ PC.
I.e. http://192.168.0.35
