How to create invoices in service base business with out inventry
We’re a horticulture business that charges an hourly rate as well as for products we’ve either created ourselves or sourced from other suppliers.
For time billing, we’ve opted the easy way and created an Item called Garden Maintenance and allocated a set price per hour, then in the invoice we adjust the quantity of that item based on the amount of hours the job took us.
If your business doesn’t sell inventory, then you don’t have to activate the Inventory Items tab, however if you have regular invoicing items such as - daily room rate - then set them up under Settings - Non Inventory Items, then they will be selectable on the Invoice without needing to re-type per invoice.
