Sales Quote amount showing null

Hi while creating the Sales quote with unit price as 0 means while generating sales quote we are getting the empty field in unit prince and amount field.

if give the unit price field as amount , if give 100% discount also the amount column showing empty

Anybody help for this issue.

These examples illustrate Manager’s minimalist philosophy. In general, if there is no information, nothing shows. Notice, for example, that if no line item has a discount, the entire column disappears. If there is no unit price, nothing shows for that column or the amount column.

Thanks for your reply.
When ever unit price zero means you can make amount as null ok fine.
How about amount with discount that also showing empty.

When you give a 100% discount, that is the same as a unit price of zero. So the amount does not show then, either.
