my sales invoice amount is showing as my purchase expenses under expenses tab. why?

There is no “Expenses” tab in the program. Can you show some screenshots?

Thank you it my miss understanding. when will you include discount amount instead of % on the invoice template?

Discount in Amount in Invoice

Not sure if this helps I have an item called “Sales discount given” which I link to Income. I then simply add another line with the discount as a minus value. If tax is involved then I also select tax on the discount line.
