Discount Amount Not Showing in Summary

Why don’t show mention Discount in Summary if you pay at a discount?

Discount feature simply lowers line total. The discount doesn’t get posted on profit & loss statement as contra income. This is mostly because for most businesses this is just inflating their income for no good reason.

You can get discount column on “Sales Invoices” screen which shows discounts across all sales invoices.

I will seem by Sales Invoice Total View, but not seem by Summary (Profit & Loss). Thank you.

The reason was explained by @Lubos, you would inflate the income by trying to make the discount an expense. A discount is just reducing your income and nothing more, it is not an expense to the business.
