I use a desktop at home and a laptop at my office. I want to back up data each day whether I work on my laptop or desktop so that the data is up to date on each machine. But every time I have to add business to update my data and remove the old one. Is there a way that whether update back up/restore can be done on the same business
No, this is as designed. You can’t override existing business by importing backup. You can delete old business after importing new business.

I mean to say override old business with latest back up taken from other computer. so that the record is uptodate on both computers.
