I am trying to remove the “OVERDUE STAMP” from invoices.
When I follow the prompts on “Learn How To…”
and the link " Include or exclude OVERDUE and PAID IN FULL stamps on sales invoices"
I get “404 Page not found The requested page could not be found.”
Can anyone advise how I can remove the overdue stamp?
The only topics I can find are several years old.
Any help appreciated.
Thank-you
The only link I could find regarding the OVERDUE stamp, contained the words PAID, that was the only reference I made to PAID. I have no desire to remove the PAID stamp, only the OVERDUE stamp. I don’t wish to forward 50 invoices for a NFP that have already been raised. That is why that is not a suitable option
I’ve checked form defaults, nothing there about removing/hiding stamp and as it is the invoice, there is no sense in removing the balance due, as I need to send the invoice out showing the amount due, minus the overdue stamp. (Even though overdue) when you are dealing with NFP’s they can be a little sensitive to these sorts of things
Removing the stamp requires a custom theme. But custom themes are considered obsolete, even though they still work. But since they are obsolete, related Guides were taken down.
What does this statement mean? Who are you forwarding invoices to? What is an NFP? What is being raised? What does that have to do with overdue markings?
Sorry - I meant edit existing invoices to change the date. These invoice have already been raised, but someone within the committee wanted the overdue stamp removed.
I need to send them again, rather than statement. NFP’s are a rule unto themselves and don’t operate the same as a company run for profit.
I can not follow why a Not For Profit (@Tut asked you to explain what NPF stands for!) would not accept a stamp on their overdue invoices when in fact they are overdue and should alert them to pay up. Alternatively you do not give them an extraordinarily long deadline on their invoice so they will never be Overdue. I have worked in and with Non For Profit and International Organizations for decades and we never nor our boards or as board member ever bothered with how suppliers provide their invoices nor how we provide invoices to others. Bottomline for us was mainly the financial oversight and clarity about what was still due.
Although I agree that this stamping should be optional I think it is more of a good to have than an essential change.
I have the invoices saved, but I was hoping to eliminate the overdue stamp forever, so there could be no further complaints in years to come. Always better to consider the long term rather than the now. Plus the PDF not being attached caused many members to be frustrated and throw around some nuisance comments.
