Even @lubos agreed at one point that something like this would be a good idea:
At the top of this “idea” that was never made an idea, was an enhancement to add the outstanding balance to the dropdown of invoices, this to me would be an awesome improvement.
If:
- the dropdown only included invoices that weren’t acquitted, and
- had the outstanding amount in the same dropdown (invoice number on the left, balance on the right)
ohhhh how sweet that would be.
this is totally an example and only to illustrate a point, but in manager, where you enter the invoice number, when the dropdown appears, if it had multiple columns and one of those columns had the amounts outstanding, I would think this would be a great feature to have (unrelated, but similar in concept):
