Hi, I have a request, to create custom number like "ABC/0722/00001
In the past I would suggest adding a custom field, enter the constant prefix in it (eg via form defaults) then append that to Managers auto incrementing sequence number via a custom theme.
However as custom themes appear to be it the process of being phased out, I’m not sure how best now to add that functionality.
The developer has not said custom themes would be phased out. He has said he hopes to reduce the need for them by adding more built-in features.
So a custom theme will still be a solution to this desire.
