I’ve just started using the desktop version and trying to find my way around, one thing I work out is; I’ve purchased an item for my stock, all my stock is imported so I pay up front, how do I include this into the files?
I noticed on the trial company Northwind, in Purchase Invoices, there is a field “Inventory on hand” I can’t seem to find this option. Could someone steer me in the right direction please, thanks in advance.

Thank you for the replies, I have following the guide but in Purchase Invoices in the Account drop down menu, “Inventory on hand” is not displayed?
Any suggestions?

Once an inventory item is selected in the Item field, the account is automatically selected. By default, this will be Inventory on hand and cannot be changed:
