Profit and loss report (could be a bug)

i have a sales from aug 7 which gets included in the report of profit and loss on aug 10 (could it be a bug), below are screen shots for reference.

sales from aug 7 (edit mode) but when run profit and loss aug 10 it gets included

i compare with inventory profit margin report, this one doesnt appear…

inventory profit margin doesnt include that particular sales on aug 7
inventory profit margin doesnt include that particular sales on aug 71366×768 41 KB

using version 21.8.27

Are you using Cash basis or Accrual basis?

Also, it would help if you show the P & L Summary or P & L for the 08/10/2021 in full

It is also essential to know whether the item, CS1001 - Toyo, is an inventory item or an inventory kit. If an item, recognition of the cost could have been delayed by unavailability of components if produced by production order or delayed acquisition if purchased. An insufficient quantity for any reason will cause Manager to delay posting the receipt until the inventory items on it can be costed.

If it is an inventory kit, it will never appear on the Inventory Profit Margin report.

In summary, you have not furnished enough information to address either of your issues.
