Problems with different versions of the software

Hi, I am letting go one of my small clients and would like to give him a flash drive with the latest desktop version of the software (v 25.8.3.2541 currently available from the Manager website) so he can open his file and have full access to his historical records. I use the cloud version (v 25.8.11.2580) and when I backup the file on the cloud version and try to open it on the desktop version, I get the following message:

Does anyone know if and where I can get the latest version of Manager so I can open the file on the desktop version? Is it at all possible?

Why don’t you let him access the business on the cloud version?

You could limit his access to read only

We did think about that, but we wanted a clean separation from the client. In addition, he wants to continue invoicing from Manager, so a “Read only” access wouldn’t work.

Wait for a few days, the desktop version is lagging behind. He can open it once the desktop version gets updated.
