Trying to attach pdf files to transactions, not showing up and when I change the files type still wont attach correctly. Have updated to the latest free version
I’m not able to reproduce this. It works for me. You need to show screenshot demonstrating the issue what you see wrong.

When i get the dialogue box to slect files they are grey out have to select all files.
Then allows a file to be chosen but the top screen shot is the result.

Try attaching the file as an image. use .png or .jpg instead of .pdf.
The image should display correctly in the Image field.

I’m using an older desktop version but I assume this is still relevant.
I attach pdf files etc when actually viewing the transaction, not while editing. It is also possible to drag and drop to it.
jpg files work , hoping to keep pdf filles , as affect the history, but at least asolution now.

Did you try what I said?
You can attach pdf files, just do it while viewing the receipt etc. as I stated previously.
