Paid tutor to get started?

Hey Guys!

I have a very small company. I used quickbooks desktop for many years until forced to online. I decided last year I wasn’t going to give them any more money, put on my big boy pants, and switch to another system. Manager io seems like it will work very well!

All I do with my accounting software is download my bank feeds from my business checking account, personal checking account, and one personal credit card. I then go in and categorize them by hand (including inputting payees for my 1099 employees) and email the results to my CPA once a year. Is there someone that I can pay to hold my hand in setting all of this up and getting started? I’m not finding the info I need help with in the tutorials (which is 100% my fault…)

I’m in Austin, TX. Someone I could take my laptop in to see in person is ideal but not necessary.

Although I can’t offer you any paid courses. I can still offer some help.

Unfortunately, Manager bank feeds still don’t work for US banks, they are limited to Australia and possibly New Zealand.

You can still import your bank statements daily if you want.

Depending on whether you are transferring money or using checks, this also might help

Thanks. I’ve been able to import a bank statement, it’s inputting data and categorizing it after the fact where I’m stuck.

How do you pay your staff. Is it checks or transfers?

checks. I have the bank statement imported, but adding an employee payee and… categorizing them(?) has me stumped.
