I was wondering if there was a way to make an inventory item show up inventory as intended , but without tracking the incoming and outgoing amounts. For instance, I sell a flat rate service that I do not track time on, so I set it up as an inventory item to sell to the customer. Because of this, my inventory on hand for this service always shows a negative number. If you could include an option (radio on/off) to turn off or turn on tracking for that item, then I wouldn’t need to do inventory adjustments for that item periodically.
You can enable Sales Invoice Items under Settings tab by clicking on Customize button.
This will allow you to create “non-trackable” inventory items.
Never use inventory module for non-trackable items.
