Non-inventory Item Tracking

I’m aware that non-inventory items aren’t tracked like inventory items so they don’t show up in reports.

Confusingly though, there is a report called “Sales Invoice Totals by Item” that does seem to track them in some way, and allow drilling down to lists of sales invoices that contain the non-inventory item.

I am trying to find a similar way to locate a list of purchase invoices that all have a given non-inventory item. Is there a way to do that?

Have you tried going into inventory items and clicking the qty associated with the item? It shows the transactions affecting it including purchases

There isn’t a built in report for that, however, you can do just that using Advanced Queries on Purchase Invoices - Lines screen.
