I have just setup for first time: Business (and myself as employee), a customer, and 3 billable time entries.
I do NOT have a tab to checkbox select the un-invoiced billable time entries> then create invoice under BILLABLE TIME.
I do NOT have a field showing un-invoiced billable hours under CUSTOMER
Why are these tabs/options missing for me as clearly described in all guide/instruction & forum answers?
The Guides are being completely reworked as the notice here says. Some of the new Guides are incomplete or wrong (as is the case for Billable Time). Some of the older Guides are out of date—also the case here, because they omit the Edit Columns feature.
The Uninvoiced column will not appear unless you enable it. The same is true of all columns in all tabs. The Edit Columns feature was added after the old Guides stopped being updated.
So…follow the old Guide, but enable Uninvoiced under the Customers tab first. All will be well.
Thank you- I’m not sure if that option was there prior to adding/specifying Accounts receivable bank account… as I was familiary with the ‘edit columns’ from the billable time which i had everything selected. It’s possible I did not totally investigate the customer columns.
