New Customer is not showing in alphabetical order

@lubos We just added a new customer starting with a letter “M”. The customer should display in alphabetical order but, instead, it comes on the top of list. We tried several options but failed to correct it.

Few days back, we faced same problem but were able to correct it by BATCH UPDATE Frankly, we dont wnat to use this option too often lest it makes some error and complication ( a possible concern)

IT should be an auto process to show all customers old or added ones in alphabetical order.

Please look into the iissue

Are you sure the customer name is starting with letter M and not some other hidden/invisible character? This can be common when copy pasting names from other source which can include some hidden characters.

As i mentioned in my above post, few days back, we faced same problem but were able to correct it by BATCH UPDATE

@lubos , on cue from your reply, I just rechecked the customer name and found a space before the name. It is corrected. Sorry for the trouble
