New custom themes not saving

I have a theme I have used in the past for all my clients . So I copied it and pasted it into a new theme for a new client I go update but it does not save. I am using the desktop V 21.3.24

I’m not able to reproduce the issue. Does the Update function works at all for you? For example, what if you just manually type something into the field (without copy&paste).

I can reproduce this in v21.3.27. Neither pasting nor manual typing works.

If I edit an existing custom theme, Update works, and the edit is preserved. But I cannot copy existing custom theme code, paste it into a new theme, Create the theme, and have it saved. The new theme itself is saved, and the Name is saved, but the pasted code is not.

There have been 4 more since the one you mentioned. The last version for Mac has not been notarized by Apple yet, so only three are available for macOS.

oh Ha Ha I only download 2 days ago will do an update maybe its better

Just updated to 21.3.28 and no still can not save

I’m still not able to reproduce the issue. I’ve tested both Windows and Mac. Copying, pasting, manually typing… everything works at my end.

Have you installed webView2?

I cannot see how WebView2 would be related. This is a problem on Macs, as well as Windows. And it persists in v21.3.63 on both desktop and cloud editions.

@lubos, is there anything else I can try for you since I can reproduce this problem?

The latest version will automatically install WebView2 on Windows so I just assume everybody is running WebView2.

I can copy and past within a line OK
but if I copy a whole theme I can not post the multiline theme text

To be clear, this problem affects only new themes. Existing ones (where some code already exists) can be edited. You can even paste in the entire body of code of another theme. You just cannot create a new theme, either by copy/paste or typing.
