Hello, I’m trying to figure out how to setup journal entry accounts with different currencies. I want to able to discount 60 dollars from my cash account, and credit 34500 CRC to a cash account with the title as a different currency, so I can keep track of my bank exchanges. I would like to only do this using journal entry and not the cash accounts.
You cannot enter monetary transactions in Manager with journal entries. To transfer money from one cash account to another, use an inter account transfer. See Transfer money between bank and cash accounts | Manager. If the accounts are denominated in different currencies, you will be able to enter equivalent amounts. Each account must be denominated separately. See Use multiple currencies | Manager.
