Missing feature? Sales history of an inventory item?

I’m new here and I’m still learning as I go, But I’ve looked around and can’t seem to find a way to go to my inventory, find an item and see the history of all the times I’ve sold this item. This is a must have feature for me to be able to see all the different sales prices of the same item along with the corresponding customer.

Go to sales invoice tab, then at the bottom of the page select Sales Invoice -Lines, then right next to search bar select custom report.

Create a new custom report and enter your item name in the field.

Thank you for the detailed response. This does the trick although not as straight forward as it should be in my opinion.

Also, maybe you have a different version but in my case I had to create a new “Advanced Search”. That’s what is showing instead of “Custom Reports” and it’s also placed at the top right instead of bottom like yours.

This does the trick although not as straight forward as it should be in my opinion.

You can just enter the item name/ Customer name/ Date in the search bar at once for quick results.

This pic shows Item 1 sales to Customer 1 during year 2024.
