Manager used as Client Portal as well

Manager is robust software. It can be adapted (ands I have) as client secure portal instead of procuring same independently. This can be achieved by allowing client access to folders, attachments and emails (only or as addition to other modules, depending on the type of engagement).
Different folders can then be created for tax and accounting documents and files can be emailed to client from within the software.
This is good and further development is encouraged in areas like ability to make sub folders. This can save us alot of portal expenses.
Thanks to the developers.

This can be achieved through REST API

Are you allowing clients to login to Manager itself with their own account and restricted permissions?

How do you hide say the summary page which is the first page that loads when you login? Or are you using a separate portal system that connects to Manager?

I’m not doing any of these tasks. I was just stating that REST APIs are born for this kind of things.

I was asking the OP abanye how he has set it up.

Grant no access to it. That is the first permission in the User Permissions list:

Almost all the modules are independent of each other and so you can choose to grant permission to whatever you like including the summary page.
