Desktop edition is on new platform now. This issue was in the old platform so I think the latest version resolves this now.

Switching desktop edition to Electron platform

Starting from version 25.8.23, the desktop edition will now be based on the Electron platform. This should resolve a few bugs, improve Linux compatibility, and allow for offline PDF generation. The cost is that the desktop edition installation package will more than double in size because Electron embeds Chromium. However, it seems like Electron is a good fit for Manager Desktop.
