Good day. My antivirus_Kaspesky seems to have identified manager as a trojan and deleted it. Now, I am trying to reinstall it and I am getting an error message.
It says " Error reading from file…C:\Users\Brian…etc. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it."
Problems with this particular anti-virus program have been reported before. It’s a false positive and only the developer of the anti-virus software can fix it. It has nothing to do with Manager and no action with respect to Manager will help.
Are you trying to install from a downloaded file or doing a new download ?
Suggest you go to the Manager programme folder and delete it
C:/users/(user name)/appdata/roaming/Manager
(Note: this wont delete your business data files as they are stored separately)
Also check that the programme folder hasn’t been stored within Kaspersky as a blocked folder.
Then after disabling Kaspersky you can complete the re-install.
