We are restoring the business of Version 19 to the new Server 21.2.19. After importing Business, Business names are not showing properly. Even we opening business no ware it’s showing the Business. How do we fix this problem.
Could you please support this at the earliest?
You need to furnish more information. What do you mean by “names are not showing properly?” Where are you referring to? Does anything show? Illustrate with screen shots.
We have downloaded many business backup files from version 19, we are uploading the files in to the latest version 21.2.19 all the business names coming as numbers, text. etc, Even we try to setting business name its showing number only no business name and address etc. Attached screen shot for your reference.
If you are importing file with name 5886d6ae23ff413396d5ccf339af831d.manager or similar, this is how business is going to be called in Manager.

In older versions of Manager the human readable business names were stored in the application data directory as a file
0000000000000000000000000000.Manager
With business files stored as a .manager such as
0b721d61a6ee4539b04462835ce69f6.manager
When you upgraded Manager normally these files are all renamed using information in the 0000000000000000000000000000.Manager file
If you manually copy and import the 0b721d61a6ee4539b04462835ce69f6.manager type files then the automatic name upgrading can not occur and you would have to do it manually
