Manager 20.2.11 doesn't open

I have just downloaded v20.2.11 onto ubuntu 18.04 and find that it opens into the manager window and immediately shuts down again.
Using v19.12.13(my last download) works perfectly.
Is this perhaps a bug or something missing in the file?
Both v19.12.13 and 20.2.11 are the same size files. 41.1MiB
