is it possible, when you open a SO/SI/SQ, to make the customer name link to the customer info created under customers tab? so we can click their name no matter where we are for quick access to all their info? likewise for supplier names in PO’s to take you to their supplier details under the suppliers tab

Nothing on a View screen is a link. View screens are processed displays of records in the database. They are not live interfaces.
Customer or supplier fields on Edit screens are content selected from lists. Thus, they cannot be hyperlinks because clicking one would take you off the page you are trying to fill out.
So, no, that is not currently possible. Nor would it be feasible without major modifications to the program’s underlying concepts.
Yeah fair enough it was just a nice to have in regards to speed, guess ill stock to having a customers tab window open at all times.
