I use Manager on both MacOS and WIndows. I share the manager files using OneDrive. With the latest version (v25.12.21.3153), when I open Manager on MacOS and load any one of my three businesses, it creates a 000000…0000.manager (lots of zeroes) in the same folder as the business .manager files. MacOS Manager doesn’t show this file as a business, but when I load Manager on Windows, it sees this (zeroes).manager file as a new business.
Again, same version on both platforms. Any idea what’s up? I see some references to this (zeroes).manager file in prior posts, but nothing recent.
I can’t be much help except to say that I use Windows and it also creates the 00000000000000000000000000000000.manager file, but ignores it so it doesn’t show with the other business files. I occasionally use Linux and this file is also ignored. But, if I reduce the number of zeroes (possibly not recommended) in the filename it shows with the other businesses. Perhaps yours doesn’t have 32 zeroes? Maybe another Mac user can confirm what happens when they switch between Mac and Windows
