• Localisation rounding makes sense if there is a method of doing calculations with the rounded intermediate values.
• Calculation in a no-coding report generation environment implies having an equation editor.
• An equation editor could enable selection of variables to be operated on, from a list on Names currently known and in scope.
• Selecting valid variables in this manner would greatly simplify user equation entry as the user would no longer need to know what variables were pre defined and available in any particular localisation.

Automating calculations in Payslips

Hi guys. After using Manager for a couple of years now, I am setting up my first employee account with all the related payslip details. I was hoping to find a way to automatically calculate deductions and contributions rather than manually entering the data on each payslip. I’ve not found anywhere to enter a formula (Total pay * 9.5% for example) that can automate this process. All I can see is the ability to do a batch import which would allow calculation in a spreadsheet, but doesn’t seem to…

Cost Price Sale Price Markup Field Idea

For inventory items as well as non-inventory items (where you are buying and selling the product) to have a markup field that could either be a percentage increase on cost price or a set amount in your currency. So when you change the purchase price it automatically updates the sale price!

Yes I can creat custom field to record transaction. Is there any way i can add funchions in custom fields. eg, if i creat custom field “lenght” , “widht”, “Depth”, “Quantiy” and i can multiply these to get cubic meter (CBM) ?
