would it be possible to have a loan module similar to the investments one?

What are the features you want to see in the loan module?

I think that, for each loan, the module should map:

  1. a liability account for “Loan” (BS) with the possibility to use Control Accounts and Divisions
  2. cost account for “Interests” (P&L) with the possibility to use Divisions
  3. cost account for “Other Loan Costs” (P&L) with the possibility to use Division

Also the Loan module should make use also of custom fields.

A possibile report should be on lines each loan, than for columns, one block with opening balance, receipts, payments, adjustment, closing balance, a second block with Interests, Other Costs and Total of the two

Than we can talk about the possibility to upload an amortization schedule and so on but I would start with just a module to map the basic things.
