I’ve just upgraded to version 25.7.8.2482.
There seems to be an issue with the internal PDF generator? I think something has changed in the way it’s being generated.
When I’m connected to the internet, it’s slower than previous versions, but it works.
However, when I’m not connected to the internet, it seems to bug out and go back to the main ‘Business Selection’ screen? It doesn’t work when not connected to the internet. I’m on Windows 11.
Anyone else facing this issue?
Thats because the pdf processing doesnt happen locally within manager. So it need internet to connect to remote server and do that processing.
Internal PDF generator has been removed from Manager.io and currently there is online service which does the conversion. This was done so that new themes can support full HTML5/CSS3.
You can always avoid online service by clicking Print button, then save to PDF.
Eventually I’ll make it so that Manager can leverage locally-installed Chrome (if available) to do the PDF conversion.
Aah, understood.
I usually use both, the Print and PDF buttons. So this will be a bit of a challenge for me.
