PDF conversion failed

We cannot email quotes, orders, or naything where the PDF Generator used to be, it’s now gone! I cannot create a PDF. All stopped working today! Windows 10, Cloud Version 25.8.7.2573

I’m have the same issue with invoices in cloud version 25.8.7.2573.

the pdf button just has the circle spinning for a maybe a minute and then it takes you to the business page.

I havent had this issue previously and we generated invoices with the PDF button 2 days ago.

We are having the same issue too, also only stopped working for us today. We have cloud edition, version 25.8.7.2573.

I cannot even save as a PDF from the print screen and attach to email. That would be very tedious but it doesn’t work anyway. I used mine successfully yesterday and this morning all fails!

Also have version 25.8.7.2573

Looks like I’m not the only with .pdf creation issue. I click on “pdf” tab and just get spinning arrows for 30 seconds, then the page reverts back to my opening “Businesses” page.

Hi. It might be a temporary technical problem. If your company does not handle large volume of invoices, then just “print” to a PDF format, then attach to your emails. I am not at the stage of sending invoices now, but I did a ‘test’ invoice, and as you mentioned it does not work. Good luck!

Same issue here. I updated to the latest version (desktop) 25.8.3.2541 and tried again, but still the same message “PDF conversion failed” when trying to send invoices.

update: mine now seems to be working intermittedly now.

it was prevously affecting the sales invoices and sales quotes prior to this though.

As I was not able to generate a PDF report and have not updated from 2541 why is it now working?.

Does this program call home? ie is it communicating with Server ?

I would like to know how this problem was corrected without updating?

I’ve just updated to 25.8.3.2541. I’m now having this issue when its never happened before. I cant send my invoices via email as i use the PDF attachment and have the same issue of a spinning notice if i click the PDF button.

I’m using a single windows desktop version. Any help would be gratefully received as I cant send any invoices to customers.

There has been a bug report for this that has been fixed.

The issue was due to reinstatement of the PDF button as a supported feature.

This new PDF, however, is an online service that could fail on Desktop editions when the firewall prevents it or when the device is offline.

I wonder if any of you were trying to generate PDF offline?

We have the same issue on multiple companies on our Cloud Addition. @lubos are aware of this? Is there a fix?
