Exactly. I’m also experiencing the same issue

You both need to furnish more information. Not showing where? Illustrate your problem completely with screenshots. You are expecting others to guess.

  1. What version of manager?
  2. What Edition of manager? (Desktop, Cloud, Server).

Hello everyone,
I am a new user of the Cloud version of the Manager.IO accounting platform.
I have a problem related to the valuation of inventory items which will also be related to COGS.
Inventory items that have been inputted through the purchasing process when pulling the Inventory Value Summary report have successfully appeared both the Qty and the nominal value of the purchase.
However, when I use the inventory item through Production Orders, only the Qty appears but the value is still “0” so that the product resulting from the Production Order itself has a value of “0”.

Sample of transaction on 13-14 Sept 2024 :

                      Op balance	Purchases	Prod Orders	Sales	Closing balance

Charcoal (Local) 882,50 1.560 -1.460,06 - 982,44
(Purchase on Sept 13th, 2024 and used of material on Sept 14th,2024)

(Inventory Value Summary not displaying the amount from used of material which i put on Production Order menu)

Yeah something is up with the Inventory Section.

My business usually has purchase transactions with let’s say 100 bags of rice A and then sales of 100 bags of rice A. Inventory should be 0 as we hold no inventory.

After updating to 24.11.11.1926, some inventory items are showing negative balances and some are positive.

I’ve updated to 24.11.11.1937 too but the issue still persists.

Earlier, when I’d click on the number shown for qty on hand, I would be able to see all the purchase and sales transactions and could track if I’d made any mistakes in data entry. Now, I can’t see those transactions as well.

Hi, Everyone

I’m using Manager.io and noticed my inventory items are not showing in the Inventory section,I’ve recorded inventory items in Manager.io, but the Quantity on Hand is showing as zero, even though I’ve added purchase transactions. The Inventory module is active, and I’ve double-checked my entries.

Any idea what might be causing this issue?

Specifically:

Qty on Hand

If you are using Qty to Deliver and/or Qty to Receive, the Qty on Hand shows your physical quantity on hand.

  • Increased by Goods Receipts.
  • Decreased by Delivery Notes.
  • Excluded: Sales Invoices and Purchase Invoices unless they also act as delivery or goods receipts.
  • Includes all other general ledger transactions.

In other words:

  • Sales Invoices, Purchase Invoices, Debit Notes, and Credit Notes affect Qty Owned but not Qty on Hand.
  • Delivery Notes and Goods Receipts affect Qty on Hand but not Qty Owned.
