how to avoid duplicate inventory ???

If you have exactly matching duplicate inventory items then you should see this message.

But if they have different codes or spelling, they won’t be highlighted

is there a possible way of having any alert while creating the inventory??

this feature is not available at present… but as @Brucanna mentioned earlier if there is an exact match you will see the message but not as an alert anywhere.
