can you add optional autonumbering to inventory items, and inventory kits?
My understanding is that the item code is usually defined outside of Manager. For example, it might be part or all of a barcode that is printed on the inventory item.
If that doesn’t apply to you, you could just leave the Item Code field blank - as it is optional, after all.
My view is the same as @ShaneAU . If inventory item doesn’t have natural code, then perhaps the Code field shouldn’t be used.
