There is a request for Manager to have a facility to deal with inventory ageing report. This report should be capable of producing inventory aging either based on predefined days brackets or customizable age brackets based on the number of days from the invoice date or GRN date. I feel it should be allowed to choose between invoice date or GRN date since each has a role to play
This report is useful in provisioning for impairment and offering trade discounts/ cash discounts for slow moving items which can be even considered in bundling.
