Import Bank Statement button location

In my opinion the import bank statement button would be best placed at the top of the “Bank Accounts” tab and not in grey. The reasons

  • “Import bank statement” should be done regularly by most users. As it replaces the automated bank feeds used in competing accounting packages

  • It should be used more often than creating a new bank account, and for many more users than are capable of using batch functions.

  • It requires the user select on the download screen which bank account the import is from.

I agree. It makes much more sense to have the import bank statement at the top of the bank accounts tab. It should be used regularly and secondly, it will be easier for new users to find.

This has already been at least partly implemented, it is at the top of
bank account tab → A bank account “Cleared Balance” drill down

Perhaps not that obvious for a new user to find. The top of the bank accounts tab would be better again in my opinion but I can easily work with what we have.
