Groups in Sale invoice

Hi, I don’t know if it was already suggested but as an improvement idea, could it be thinking about the possibility to créate some groups of items (with subtotals of the content of each groups) in Sales invoices.
For example, this would be very usefull for identify additional items to invoice in addition of the ones of an initial Sale quote , creating a specific groupfor these items in the sale invoice.
Thank you.

Can you explain a bit more about what you trying to achieve with some examples

It could be that you could use a kit

I think you mean multiple subtotals like in QuickBooks. Which divide the Sales Invoice in multiple subtotals with each subtotal have one or multiple lines and a grand total at the end.
Would be a great feature if implemented.

This is exactly what I meant.
As an example: I sent a sales quote that was accepted by the customer, so I transformed it into a sales invoice, but in the meantime the customer added new products/services to this invoice.
The idea would be to be able to create a first group “original invoice” (with a subtotal equal to the sum of the lines constituting the group i.e. quote) and a second group “additional products/services” (with a subtotal equal to the sum of the additional products/services).
The total of the sales invoice is the sum of the 2 groups of lines (= the sum of all the lines of the sales invoice)

When a customer orders more than agreed on a Sales order you should just add it to the Sales Invoice, I do not understand why this is an issue. @shahabb is referring in my view to something else,

This is just an example for a feature that can be justified in many other cases:
The ability to divide the Sales Invoice in multiple subtotals (called “group” or other) with each subtotal have one or multiple lines and a grand total at the end.

Odoo call it section. For each section there is a subtotal and then a total in the end.
