Funds Flow Statement

I think a feature to help users generate funds flow statements in manager.io is essential just like a cash flow statement. As a tool for management accounting, the funds flow statement gives valuable information for long-term and short-term use of funds.

Can this be considered @lubos

Define exactly what you mean by “funds flow statement.” That is not a common financial statement in many situations. How would it differ from a cash flow statement?

It is basically a statement that shows the sources and uses of funds. When you have a detailed cash flow statement, I don’t see why you need a funds flow statement. Cash flow statements are preferred by analysts (in my opinion), and this has been added.

Unlike the cash flow statement, the Funds flow statement shows the changes in the financial position of a business and also gives the reasons for those changes as it displays the changes in working capital. And yes it is a necessary statement for internal use by managers of a company. The funds flow statement shows the creditworthiness of a business to investors too. It is used together with the Cash Flow Statement as they complement each other.

Sorry, but I do not understand what a Fund Flow statement adds that is not already in the Cash Flow Statement

A standard Cash Flow statement shows the changes in working capital
