Formatting support for sales invoice notes

Could there be a heading displayed in the notes section when viewing sales invoice?

When viewing the sales invoice, I noticed the notes don’t have a heading as suppose to purchase order which displays the heading of delivery instructions.

Is it possible to allow text formatting in notes? I put payment Instructions in the notes and I’d like to highlight certain texts, e.g. the bank account and account number.

I’ve added markdown support for notes in sales invoices so you can enter something like this:

### Notes

Interest is charged on overdue amounts.

**Please make payment to:** National Bank - XYZ Company - ACC No: 123-456-789

All goods remain the property of XYZ Company until payment is received in full.

*Thank you for your business.*

And it will show as this:

Notes

Interest is charged on overdue amounts.

Please make payment to: National Bank - XYZ Company - ACC No: 123-456-789

All goods remain the property of XYZ Company until payment is received in full.

Thank you for your business.

Thanks Lubos, this really allowed me to spruce up the default template in seconds.

Is there any chance or eta on markdown in the notes section on Sales Quotes, and Purchase Orders?

The latest version (14.9.35) now supports Markdown in Notes field under Sales Quotes. For purchase orders, you will need to wait a bit longer.
